Transformation: Chi is able to transform to his Kirin form with ease, but he'd rather stay in his humanoid form or human disguise, than to be seen by humans.
Levitation: A skill not always used by Chi, his levitation is only by mere inches as it is now, and he uses this skill to avoid harming the blades of grass and water beneath him should he walk upon them.
Speed: Speed for quick and easy getaways. His running is similar to that of a deer if anything.
Holy Fire: Chi's last resort in protecting himself. If cornered or scared, powerful white flames spurt from his mouth and burn his enemies. The fire is not wild by any means and will only burn to the specific areas Chi desires.

Weaknesses:
Fragile: Chi's body is not meant for a long battle, he can bruise and scar quite easily and if he bleeds out, he bleeds out quite a lot and needs to take care of it immediately. He'd rather run or spit fire than stay for a physical brawl.
Cursed objects: Chi's body can not handled anything cursed, if he becomes in contact with anything of the sort he becomes quite ill.
Humans: As much as humans throughout the years have praised and held the Kirin in high regard, they've also desired the good omen, luck and peace they give, along with the said to be magical properties in their horns/antlers. In Chi's past he has gotten a slight fear of humans, and how very few good ones show through, yet he is still compelled to do anything for them, thus getting him in troubling situations from time to time depending on the human.
Dark fire: Does not combat well with his holy fire.

None, Chi is mainly a pacifist, but if he needs anything he relies on his fire.

Personality:
Chi's personality over all is very kind and non confrontational. His face not always wear a smile but his voice and actions portray that he is welcome to talk with anyone and listen intently to anyone in a conversation. He exudes kindness to anyone, but it is not to be taken for being naive. If Chi feels that he cannot trust someone, he gives a standoff-ish tone to his words and body language. Underneath the calm and kindess exists the somewhat vain side of Chi. Having been praised, honored and highly revered has left Chi with a rather large ego, though he has no particular moments to express it often. Chi can have quite of a pride issue that gets him into quite a bit of trouble with other yokai. It can be easily corrected with his personal weakness of guilt. If his pride, ego or vanity has somehow gotten him into trouble, guilt will remedy it for he feels that he acted inappropriate for someone of his race and standing, and will grudgingly do whatever he can to correct the situation and apologize.

History:
Chi lived out the majority of his life hearing the whispers of the gods and bringing peace and good omens down on humans. Every few years he visited humans and brought them good graces, and even helped around from village to village, travelling through the woodlands.
As time passed on, Chi noticed the natrue of humans were going through a drastic change, he didn't want to be around most of them at all, yet still the gods whispered to him to keep them company and show them kindess. So he continued to do so.

Hundreds of years had passed and as time had gone on, the number of good decent people had dwindled, nature was at the mercy of humans, and more and more of them had become targets for demons and the like, corrupting their hearts. Chi had grown fearful of the majority of them, though stayed for the spare few ones that needed his hope, prosperity and company in dark times. Chi had witnessed the faults of humans too many times and didn't want to come to the humans again for quite some time. He wanted to be with nature, or with the spirits.

One day, Chi had called to a village and told them he would leave and not be back for a mellinea to come, and hoped that the people would change the next he had come back. Upon his retreat to a forest, he was ambushed by a group of people with greed in their hearts. They told him he was not to leave and if he were to try, they'd cut off his horns and use them for good luck. They attacked him with their weapons and a cage at the ready before Chi attacked them in holy fire before returning to the spirit world. Scared and worried for his life he told the gods he would never return again. The gods had told him that he wasn't paying attention to the humans. The less he wanted to help the troubled ones, the more troubled they had become. If Chi had spent his time passing his graces on the ones that needed it, and not the ones he had liked, there might have been a change. Chi being too proud to admit he was wrong agreed to go back another millenium later and become a better Kirin. A better kirin for the people, and learn to coincide with the yokai that also had doubled in numbers since his last visit.

Now, Chi grudgingly goes about villages and tends to humans once again. Now a more cautious, offstandish person as he continues to rebuild himself, and correct his mistakes along the way.
